Responsibilities
- Instructional Delivery: Teach advanced certificate programs covering introductory AI, machine learning pipelines, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI tools.
- Curriculum & Lab Development: Design up-to-date course materials, practical coding labs, and capstone projects that reflect current global industry standards.
- Consultative Enrollment Support: Partner with the sales and admissions teams to meet with prospective students and corporate clients, explaining the career value of AI programs to convert initial inquiries into active enrollments.
- Student Mentorship: Provide academic counseling, project guidance, and career pathways coaching to students during and after their certificate programs.
- Corporate Training Design: Customize specialized AI/ML workshops and training modules based on the digital transformation needs of local businesses in Kuwait.
Basic qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of blended experience in corporate training, academic lecturing, or working directly as an AI/ML engineer.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Python, SQL, and primary frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. Must have the ability to translate complex algorithms into highly accessible, practical concepts.
- Residency: Must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Kuwait with a transferable residency status.
Preferred qualifications
- Ph.D. in an AI-related domain is highly preferred.
- Recognized vendor certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Machine Learning Engineer).
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is a strong asset for client-facing enrollment consulting.
- Active involvement in the local or regional tech community (hackathons, research papers, tech talks).
- Inquiry-to-Enrollment Rate: Success percentage in converting student and corporate leads into registered students via consultation sessions.
- Student Satisfaction Rating: Maintaining an average course evaluation score of over 90% across all taught modules.
- Course Completion Rate: Keeping student attrition to a minimum through high engagement and structured academic support.
- Curriculum Relevance: Timely completion and updating of training modules to align with the shifting AI landscape.
