We are looking for a motivated
Junior Machine Learning Engineer
to join our client’s team in Westchester, PA. This role is a great fit for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants hands-on experience building and supporting machine learning models in a cloud environment. You’ll work alongside senior engineers and analysts to help deliver practical data-driven solutions. This role is 3 days on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with building, training, and deploying models using AWS tools such as SageMaker, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Help organize, clean, and preprocess datasets stored in S3, Redshift, or similar systems.
  • Contribute to setting up workflows and pipelines that make model training and deployment more efficient.
  • Support testing and performance checks to ensure models stay accurate and reliable.
  • Work closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver results.
  • Keep track of models, processes, and workflows so they can be reused and improved.
  • Follow best practices for handling sensitive data securely.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in data or machine learning projects, ideally with AWS exposure.

Technical Skills:

  • Python programming with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, Lambda, S3).
  • Understanding of data cleaning and model evaluation basics.
  • Some exposure to containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
