Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Simulate mechanical and multi-physics processes in semiconductor 3D integration technologies by utilizing commercial and custom finite element software packages
  • Design and optimize mechanical elements using modeling results
  • Create advanced models to analyze simulation and experiment results

Qualifications Minimum

  • Attained or working towards a PhD degree in mechanical engineering, materials science or relevant field at the start of the position
  • Experienced using finite element software, e.g. Abaqus, Ansys, COMSOL, etc.
  • Experienced in machine learning algorithms and programming software (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with applied statistical theories
  • Strong knowledge in advanced mathematics

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

  • The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
