Senior Generative AI Engineer

• Position: Senior Generative AI Engineer
• Location: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ (Local Candidates, Hybrid Onsite)
• Duration: 6+ months contract

Key Responsibilities

• Enable GenAI capabilities for Wells Fargo’s enterprise development community.
• Identify, evaluate, and productionize GenAI tools.
• Explore and integrate AI technologies such as Agents and MCP Servers.
• Build and support internal AI-powered tools and applications.
• Implement modern engineering practices including automated testing and release strategies.

Required Experience/Skills

• 10+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI development tools (at least one of: GitHub CoPilot, Coding Agent, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin).
• Strong Java development skills.

Preferred/Additional Skills

• 1+ years of experience with AI Agent and MCP Server development (nice to have).
• Strong Python experience (nice to have).
• TypeScript experience (nice to have).
