Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• check_circle Deliver best-in-industry models for detection of subrogation opportunities using the latest ML advancements and best software engineering practices
• check_circle Meet and collaborate with business stakeholders (customers, sales and product managers) to drive the development of new models and features based on
• check_circle Collaborate with data engineering and software engineering team to ensure a smooth flow of data across teams and APIs related to outbound subrogation
• check_circle Mentor junior ML engineers in the outbound subro team to form a high-performing team
• check_circle Deep understanding of ML lifecycle: development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• check_circle Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders
• check_circle Hands-on experience in experiment design and model valuation
• check_circle Expertise with ML system design, model deployment, and production ML systems
• check_circle Experience in engineering production-grade GenAI features with robust validation, sanity checks, and structured outputs to mitigate hallucination and business risk
• check_circle Proficiency with AWS stack related to ML (e.g. Sagemaker, Lambda, Stepfunctions, IAM)
• check_circle Strong software engineering fundamentals and best practices (CICD, Test-Driven Development, Infrastructure as Code)
• check_circle Experience translating business objectives into technical roadmaps and deliverables
• check_circle Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and timelines
• check_circle Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
