Role overview

Responsibilities

• check_circle Lead development of models for denoising, synthetic contrast generation, and classification
• check_circle Design algorithms for segmentation, localization, and characterization of pathologies
• check_circle Collaborate with other DS team members and mentor junior profiles
• check_circle Ensure clean, maintainable code and scalable model packaging (Poetry/uv)
• check_circle Put models into production and help design robust evaluation pipelines
• check_circle Publish your work in peer-reviewed venues and represent Hawkcell in the AI community
• check_circle Contribute to IT topics and help bridge R&D and productionization
• check_circle Must Have:
• check_circle 4+ years of experience in deep learning applied to imaging
• check_circle Proven track record of bringing models to production
• check_circle Strong coding standards and experience with Git/GitHub collaboration tools
• check_circle Proficiency in packaging tools like Poetry or uv
• check_circle Published research papers and eagerness to continue publishing
• check_circle Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• check_circle Ability to work in an international and English-first environment
• check_circle Nice to have:
• check_circle Experience with Cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• check_circle Knowledge of medical imaging, DICOM formats, clinical environments
• check_circle Knowledge of medical software related norms and processes
• check_circle Experience in a regulated domain
• check_circle Experience in SaaS startups
• check_circle Experience in or keen interest in Web-Dev or C++
