Responsibilities

• check_circle Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models.
• check_circle Conduct data analysis and moderately complex algorithm.
• check_circle Monitor and maintain production models for accuracy and identify model drifts.
• check_circle Work with and alongside business analysts by suggesting other products.
• check_circle Assist in modeling and framing business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact critical business processes and/or decisions.
• check_circle Collaborate with Institute subject matter experts to select the relevant sources of information.
• check_circle Recommend ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information.
• check_circle Provide on-going tracking and monitoring of performance of decision systems and statistical models.
• check_circle Communicate analysis and decisions to high-level stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written formats.
• check_circle Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and decision makers to develop success criteria and optimize new solutions, features, policies, and models.
• check_circle Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
• check_circle Less than twelve (12) months of experience in analytics, data science, and business intelligence
• check_circle Experience in developing algorithms, predictive analytics, or statistical models is required
• check_circle Experience in analyzing large data sets that have complex designs that are unstructured, structured, and semi-structured is also required
• check_circle Experience in the use of statistical packages is required Experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred
• check_circle Experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred
• check_circle Bachelor’s degree in a related field or any non-related field along with a certification in data science from an accredited institution is required
• check_circle Working knowledge and understanding in the following areas: Manipulating large datasets and using database and general-purpose programming language (such as Hadoop MapReduce, Python, JavaScript, or other big data frameworks, Java) Basic principles of distributed computing and/or distributed databases Understanding new concepts down to the theorems and to come out with original solutions to mathematical issues One or more business/functional areas Diagnosis and procedure coding and medical terminology Managed care, claims payment processes, and insurance terminology Implementation of LLM Models and GenAI solutions
