Responsibilities
- check_circle Collect, clean and transform large datasets from various operational and financial systems.
- check_circle Develop data visualizations, dashboards and reports that support operational efficiency and financial insights.
- check_circle Build and test statistical and machine learning models to identify trends, forecast performance and support resource planning.
- check_circle Collaborate with the executive and departmental leaders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- check_circle Document methodologies and present results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- check_circle Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities for automation or operational efficiency.
- check_circle Maintain data integrity and confidentiality, adhering to relevant compliance and security standards.
- check_circle Perform other duties as appropriate and as assigned.

- check_circle Ability to reach below shoulder height with regular frequency (desk position) and at or above shoulder height on occasion.

- check_circle Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel by motor vehicle and aircraft.
Basic qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Ability to obtain security clearance
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with government contracting or regulated industries.
- Coursework or experience in finance, economics, or accounting.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms or big data technologies.
