Data Scientist (1-year position)
Do you want to apply advanced data analytics and AI to improve patient care and generate knowledge on stress and mental health? We are looking for a Data Scientist for a 1-year position in a leading interdisciplinary research environment.
You will work with large-scale Danish health data, including nationwide registers, and clinical text, in close collaboration with physicians, psychologists, and statisticians.
Responsibilities
- check_circle Develop and validate predictive models using health and registry data
- check_circle Apply NLP to analyse municipal data and other text data
- check_circle Use modern machine learning methods, including large language models
- check_circle Work with complex, multimodal datasets
- check_circle Contribute to scientific publications and dissemination
Basic qualifications
- Holds a MSc or PhD in data science, statistics, computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field
- Has strong experience in machine learning and epidemiology
- Has experience with predictive modelling and NLP
- Is skilled in Python (or R) and relevant tools
- Has strong analytical skills
- Thrives in interdisciplinary collaboration
Preferred qualifications
- Large-scale datasets (e.g. nationwide registers or health data)
- Survival analysis or causal inference methods
- Longitudinal or clinical trial data analysis
