Role overview
In this hands-on internship, you'll collaborate with experienced Data Scientists and Engineers to develop cutting-edge AI solutions that address complex business challenges. You'll be immersed in the entire data science lifecycle, from problem formulation to solution deployment, working directly with business experts to create impactful AI products.
Responsibilities
- check_circle Support the end-to-end delivery of AI products, including data engineering, visualization, machine learning, and model interpretation/monitoring
- check_circle Work with AI foundation models to develop innovative solutions for complex insurance challenges
- check_circle Actively contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, team events, hackathons, and other collaborative efforts
- check_circle Learn and apply data science techniques in a (re)insurance context
- check_circle Develop reusable toolboxes and solutions that can be leveraged across multiple projects

The Data Science & AI (DS & AI) department is part of the Group Data Services. The DS & AI department implements Swiss Re's Technology Strategy and supports its business functions in generating insights and creating data-driven products & solutions, be it with our internal business partners or with our external insurance and corporate clients.
