AI Engineer
Role overview
We are looking for an AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy and support production-ready Agentic AI solutions for enterprise applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of intelligent AI agents, analytics solutions and cloud-based AI applications using modern software engineering practices. The role involves close collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and maintainable AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- check_circle Design, develop and maintain Agentic AI solutions and AI-powered applications.
- check_circle Build intelligent AI agents using GitHub Copilot and modern AI engineering practices.
- check_circle Develop scalable applications using Python and SQL / PL-SQL.
- check_circle Build and optimise AI workflows, orchestration pipelines and business automation solutions.
- check_circle Integrate AI applications with enterprise data platforms and cloud services.
- check_circle Develop analytics and visualisation solutions to support business decision-making.
- check_circle Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- check_circle Develop, test and deploy production-ready AI applications following software engineering best practices.
- check_circle Support production environments, troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
- check_circle Create technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
Basic qualifications
- Strong experience in:
- Python development
- SQL / PL-SQL
- Building Agentic AI / AI Agent solutions
- GitHub Copilot implementation
- Analytics and problem solving
- Data visualisation
- REST API development
- AI application deployment and production support
- Good understanding of:
- Software engineering best practices
- CI/CD pipelines
- Git version control
- Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Linux and Windows environments
