Job Description

Your role

  • Autonomous task agents that plan, reason, and use tools to complete multi-step workflows -campaign QA, comms research, briefing preparation, document workflows.
  • Multi-agent systems where specialized agents collaborate under an orchestrator (e.g. researcher / writer / reviewer patterns).
  • Long-running agents with persistent memory, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and approval gates suitable for enterprise use.

Required

  • Strong programming skills in Python (typed, tested, production-ready). TypeScript / Node.js a plus.
  • Hands-on production experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or open-weight models).
  • Demonstrated experience designing agentic systems - fluency with at least one agent framework (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel) AND practical familiarity with multiple agent design patterns (ReAct, plan-and-execute, reflection, multi-agent).
  • Practical experience with retrieval systems and at least one vector database (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search, Qdrant).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and run AI evals -not just "it looked good in the demo".
  • Understanding of the security and data-protection considerations of building with AI (PII handling, data minimisation, prompt injection, output validation).

Preferred

  • Domain context in corporate communications, employee experience, brand, marketing, or media.
  • Experience operating inside large industrial / regulated organisations (energy, manufacturing, finance, pharma).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint as a delivery surface.
  • Track record of building eval/observability tooling, not just consuming it.
  • Open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference talks on AI systems.
  • Working knowledge of fine-tuning and model adaptation - useful but not core.
