We’re looking for a Pricing Data Analyst / Data Scientist to:
- build new pricing analyses and solutions using R, Python, SQL, R Shiny, AKS, Azure OpenAI, etc. (we don't expect you to be master of all of those, but affinity to programming, data, and desire to learn is critical),
- collaborate effectively with our team of fellow pricing experts and data scientists, and also with users and business stakeholders, and senior leadership. You will need to communicate well, think critically, be project manager for your own projects, deliver training and support on tools you build,
- gather, integrate, analyze, interpret and visualize various pricing related information from several data sources as well as conduct quantitative analyses.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Global Pricing team in Wroclaw. We are part of the Client Coverage organization of UBS Asset Management. Our team is responsible for the development and implementation of UBS AM’s pricing strategy, ensuring the pricing competitiveness and commercial viability of our product offering across the globe. You will work closely with the part of our team that focuses on the development of innovative and cutting-edge pricing and workflow tools, with additional touch points to the fund and mandate pricing team.
Your expertise
- pursued your studies preferably in mathematics, economics, quantitative finance, or computational science / information technology,
- data-focused coding in R / Python,
- data extraction in SQL (further knowledge beneficial, but not critical),
- optional but beneficial: experience with R Shiny or other such web-framework Azure, AKS, OpenAI models,
- experience with statistics and data analysis,
- an interest in financial markets, numbers, models, and products,
- excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure),
- an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style,
- fluency in English
