Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. This role requires deep experience in machine learning frameworks to design robust APIs and deploy production‑ready AI models.Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.AI Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js (TypeScript) and Python, ensuring robust architecture, security, and performance.
Integrate and operationalize AI/ML models (Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow) with Azure ML for training, deployment, and monitoring of production-grade AI features.
Develop responsive React (TypeScript) frontends, implementing state management, routing, and component libraries to support complex user workflows.
Implement AI functionality with LangChain and related JavaScript/Python libraries to enable intelligent, context-aware application features.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, UX/UI, data scientists, and ML engineers in an Agile environment; participate in design reviews and backlog grooming.
Ensure code quality and reliability via unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and continuous improvement of observability and performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
8–10 years of experience in full‑stack development with strong exposure to AI/ML technologies.
Proven expertise in building scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python, with experience integrating production‑ready AI/ML models.
Strong frontend development skills using React (TypeScript) and demonstrated experience deploying AI‑powered solutions using tools such as Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, Azure ML, or LangChain.
