Responsibilities

  • Develop new features (e.g. integrations with other apps, new internal & public API endpoints)
  • Enable our application to discover interesting trends and statistics in our data
  • Infuse AI into every part of our app (it's already in a lot of places ofc)
  • Improve our agent and chatbot
  • Improve performance of endpoints (we're dealing with 1M row queries )
  • Fix bugs . Which of course never happens

Basic qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, related field or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in building backend systems with Python and solid knowledge of SQL Databases
  • First experience building applications that leverage GenAI
  • Solid foundations in Data Science and statistics
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of datastructure and algorithms
  • You are familiar with web APIs (mostly REST)
  • Performance issues are challenges you indulge in, not something you dread
  • Track record of getting features shipped for customer-facing applications
  • Solid written communication in English; German not required but a plus
  • Located in an EU country or Switzerland
  • Fast learner, with a resourceful and independent mindset
  • Upbeat team player

Preferred qualifications

  • You have knowledge of Django and / or Django Ninja
  • Some experience with Kubernetes
  • Cloud Devops exposure (we're on GCP)
  • Experience with Clickhouse is a plus
