Tyler Technologies is seeking a passionate, talented AI Engineer to join our Document Automation Team and help create cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions. As an AI Engineer, you will work on designing, building and optimizing AI models and systems to solve complex problems and drive innovation. This role involves working large language models, natural language processing (NLP) and other AI technologies.

**On-Site Work Policy: This is and the candidate is required to be in the Apopka, FL office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities**

  • Build and optimize machine learning pipelines for scalability and performance.
  • Work with large datasets, leveraging data processing techniques and feature engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
  • Deploy AI models into production environments using cloud services and containerization.
  • Monitor and maintain AI models, ensuring performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of AI technologies including large language models, natural language processing and data structures
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices
  • Basic understanding of javascript language
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or comparable work experience
  • Additional experience with these technologies is preferred, but not required:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • AWS Services
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and understanding of relevant technologies.
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of product architecture and all underlying technologies.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and teamwork.
  • Well-developed logical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
