We are seeking a talented Junior AI Engineer to join our dynamic data and AI team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career working with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies and building enterprise AI solutions.

Job Summary:

The Junior AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI solutions and data pipelines within the Microsoft Fabric/Foundry ecosystem. This role requires a strong foundation in machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions that meet business requirements and drive organizational value.

Key Responsibilities:1. AI Solution Development:

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models using Microsoft Data Science capabilities.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines.
  • Implement AI workflows and analytics solutions within the Microsoft platform.

2. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand AI requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

3. Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Identify and resolve issues related to data pipelines, model performance, and integration challenges.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed AI solutions and models in production.
  • Provide technical support for AI solution inquiries from internal teams.4. Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with Microsoft Fabric updates, AI/ML trends, and best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation and propose improvements to existing AI workflows and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (recent graduate).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript and SQL.
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning algorithms and concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
  • Understanding of data engineering principles including ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and version control (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Azure Analytics through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or Azure AI services.
  • Understanding data security and governance best practices.
