Role Overview

We are hiring an entry-level AI Engineer to help build scalable, secure AI systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers to develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, agent orchestration layers, and modern data pipelines—all within secure, cloud-native environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI Solution Development

  • Build and support RAG pipelines using Azure AI Search and vector databases (Redis, FAISS)
  • Develop conversational AI features: chunking, embedding, re-ranking, citation formatting
  • Integrate multi-modal models (Azure OpenAI, OSS LLMs) with prompt routing and lightweight guardrails

Infrastructure & Orchestration

  • Deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, including RBAC, audit trails, and validation mechanisms
  • Assist in agent orchestration using Azure AI Agent Service, including policy framework exposure

Data Engineering

  • Contribute to scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for document ingestion, metadata tagging, and PII redaction
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory and Databricks for orchestrated data workflows

MLOps & CI/CD

  • Support model evaluations, offline testing, and performance logging
  • Help implement CI/CD pipelines with built-in security scans and automation

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience: 2+ years in software engineering with exposure to GenAI concepts and cloud services

Certifications (Level I – Mandatory)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
  • Responsible AI certification or awareness training
  • (Preferred) AWS Machine Learning Specialty
  • (Bonus) TensorFlow Developer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Python and C# for backend development
  • Working knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector database integration
  • Understanding of agent orchestration and prompt engineering patterns
  • Exposure to LLM evaluation, safety testing, and fine-tuning techniques
  • Agile development participation and effective collaboration within technical teams

  • Azure: Azure OpenAI, AI Search, AML, ADF, Functions, Key Vault, Databricks
  • AWS: SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EMR

  • Local Inference: Docker/Ollama for lightweight LLM deployments

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
