What will you do?

As an AI Engineer with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), you will:

  • Design and implement RAG architectures using open-source and proprietary LLMs (i.e., LLaMa, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude), integrating outputs into user-facing applications to ensure responses are grounded, reliable, and privacy-compliant.
  • Build and optimize RAG pipelines that combine large language models with domain-specific retrieval systems, enabling accurate, context-aware content surfacing for complex use cases.
  • Implement AI solutions by identifying use cases and supporting the creation, deployment, and integration of AI systems into production environments.
  • Manage and preprocess data, collecting, cleaning, and preparing large datasets for model training and evaluation.
  • Develop and fine-tune models, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across applications.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, continuously exploring advancements in AI, RAG, and related technologies to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Your skills & qualifications:

  • A Master Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence or a related quantitative field
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or French
  • Experience or interest in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and building architectures that combine LLMs with domain-specific retrieval systems is a big plus
  • You have professional experience in the domain of machine learning or generative AI
  • You have a good understanding of large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI techniques and are familiar with libaries such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn and Pandas
  • You have a good knowledge of Python
  • You can collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical AI solutions
