At STRV, Your Role Will Be To:
- Innovate with AI: Design, code, train, test, deploy and iterate machine learning systems that tackle real-world challenges.
- Consult and guide: Help clients unlock the potential of AI models by providing expert consultation and tailored strategies.
- Think big: Solve complex business problems by integrating AI models and providing strategic insights.
- Collaborate and create: Work in an agile, cross-functional team with data scientists, product managers, designers and engineers.
- Be a trailblazer: Set the course for AI and machine learning at STRV, influencing strategy and best practices.
- Mentor and share: Grow your impact by guiding peers and speaking at conferences and meetups.
We Expect You To Have:
- A problem-solving mindset: You love applying AI to tackle tough business challenges and have a knack for knowing when to use off-the-shelf models or build custom solutions.
- A self-starter attitude: You’re passionate about learning, experimenting and sharing knowledge.
- Strong communication skills: Fluent in English and skilled at explaining complex ideas clearly.
- Proven coding experience: Proficient in Python, C/C++, or Java/Scala, with a solid foundation in software engineering.
- Hands-on ML knowledge: Experience with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn and familiarity with platforms like SageMaker or Metaflow.
- Math and stats enthusiasm: A solid grasp of optimization techniques, deep learning and data science fundamentals.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with Search Systems (such as ElasticSearch) and BigData processing (Spark) is a plus
- A degree in an analytical/quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science)
- Previous consulting experience
