JOB SUMMARY:

The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions. This role integrates machine learning models into scalable systems including researching and implementing algorithms in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. This role will work on a variety of projects, from building recommended engines and predictive analytics tools to developing intelligent chatbots and computer vision applications. They will contribute to the development of AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training environments, and deployment frameworks.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Support AI strategy, research, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build scalable AI solutions integrating with existing software infrastructure.
  • Design and develop AI models and algorithms to solve business challenges. • Develop AI, ML, and LLM capabilities to enhance print design automation and customer experience platforms.
  • Design, code, and test technical solutions using Test Driven Development methodologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical and functional requirements into actionable designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.
  • Evaluate and optimize model performance. • Deploy AI models into production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously improve AI systems based on feedback and metrics.
  • Recommend best practices for AI governance, security, and responsible AI as a member of the AI council.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and recommend their adoption.
  • Document AI processes.
  • Ensure ethical and responsible use of AI.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No but may manage outside consulting resources.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Bachelor's in computer science or related field or High School diploma and 4 years of related experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience, including web applications and data processing using Python, Java, or similar languages with full-stack development capabilities.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • AI Engineer Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in deploying AI models to production environments (cloud/on-prem)
  • Comprehensive technical foundation including Python, REACT, SQL, JavaScript, and cloud platform experience (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure)
  • 7+ years of software development experience, including web applications and data processing using Python, Java, or similar languages with full-stack development capabilities.
  • Innovative problem-solving approach, leveraging technology to address unique business challenges.
  • Proven success collaborating across creative, business, and technical departments.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

PAY STATEMENT

The national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
