Role overview
We are looking for an AI / GenAI Engineer to join a large financial institution based in Brussels (2 days/week onsite).
In this role, you will own small to medium-sized features from start to finish, including analyzing requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, and supporting them in production. You will contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions while following engineering best practices and collaborating closely with your team.
Responsibilities
- check_circle Analyze requirements and design solutions
- check_circle Develop, test, and support features in production
- check_circle Own small to medium-sized features end-to-end
- check_circle Apply engineering best practices related to security, performance, scalability, and DevSecOps
- check_circle Proactively solve problems and contribute to improving existing systems
- check_circle Collaborate with teammates and contribute to the team's overall success
- check_circle Support and coach colleagues where needed
Basic qualifications
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AI / Generative AI Engineering

- + Document Intelligence
- Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML)
- Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Foundry
- Chatbots / LLM-based customer-facing applications
