Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Lead Engineer to join a high-impact healthcare technology initiative supporting a major enterprise client. This role focuses on designing and delivering AI-powered solutions, including Generative AI, LLM-based applications, predictive analytics, and conversational AI systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on engineering experience and the ability to lead the adoption of AI technologies across teams, building scalable, responsible AI solutions that support healthcare providers and improve digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the adoption and implementation of AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI and traditional machine learning approaches.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-powered software solutions aligned with business and customer needs.
  • Build responsible AI solutions that support healthcare providers while meeting regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Develop advanced capabilities using LLMs, predictive analytics, and automation technologies.
  • Lead technical initiatives related to chatbots, conversational AI, and NLP-based solutions.
  • Partner with product management, architects, and engineering leadership to deliver scalable AI solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise AI strategies and engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers on AI/ML frameworks and responsible AI practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain strong operational excellence in production systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 9+ years of hands-on AI/ML development experience
  • Strong experience building solutions with LLMs, Generative AI, and traditional machine learning models
  • Experience developing Chatbots, conversational AI, and NLP-based systems
  • 9+ years of experience in Web and API development
  • 9+ years of experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of security, access controls, monitoring, logging, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and production operations
