BITS is a growing software development company in Washington DC area. We provide project management, database solutions, application development, infrastructure supports, network engineering, and high-end computing using innovative technologies to the Federal agencies. We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer for one of our FEDERAL projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer with around 6 years of experience to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable ML solutions, working with large datasets, and deploying models into production environments.

Key Responsibilities

--Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.

--Build and maintain data pipelines and ML workflows for model training and inference.

--Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to implement AI solutions.

--Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization.

--Deploy and monitor models in production environments.

--Implement MLOps practices for model lifecycle management.

--Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.

--Document solutions and follow best practices in AI/ML development.

Required Qualifications

--Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.

--Minimum 6 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles.

--Strong programming skills in Python.

--Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

--Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.

--Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.

--Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

--Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).

--Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop.

--Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, or transformer models.

--Experience working in Agile development environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
