Job Title: AI/ML Cloud Engineer (AWS + AI/ML)
Location: Malvern, PA OR Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – Onsite from Day 1)
Duration: 1+ Year Contract (Multi-year Extension Likely)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in both AWS Cloud Engineering and AI/ML development. This is a blended role requiring hands-on experience in building scalable cloud-native AI solutions using AWS serverless architecture and modern AI frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python, AI concepts such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI Agents, and strong implementation knowledge in AWS serverless services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions on AWS cloud platforms.
Build and optimize serverless architectures using AWS services.
Implement AI solutions using RAG frameworks, AI Agents, and LLM-based architectures.
Develop backend services and ML pipelines using Python.
Integrate AI models into cloud-native applications.
Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and security of cloud-based AI solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists, cloud architects, and application teams.
Monitor and optimize cost and performance of AWS infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
Experience with Serverless AWS architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, etc.).
Strong programming experience in Python.
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including:
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
AI Agents
LLM integrations
Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
Knowledge of IAM, security best practices, and cloud networking.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with vector databases and embedding models.
Familiarity with AWS SageMaker.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in enterprise-level AI deployments.
