Their mission is to build the operating system for digital influence – tools that make online attention programmable and tradeable. The Job
As a
Senior AI/ML Engineer
, you will lead the architecture and launch of my client’s programmatic advertising trade desk. This unified platform enables automated, cross-platform media buying and creative optimization across social channels. You’ll build everything from backend infrastructure and APIs to slick, user-facing interfaces that interact with major social platforms.
The product is highly experimental, leveraging large language models and reinforcement learning agents to continuously improve ad targeting, performance, and predictions. As a founding engineer, you’ll move fast – prototyping new ideas, integrating AI at every layer, and owning significant parts of the tech stack and roadmap. This is a rare opportunity to shape both the technical foundation and the culture of a company at the forefront of AI-driven social advertising.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and build the first version of my client’s programmatic advertising trade desk – from backend infrastructure to user-facing interfaces.
- Integrate AI/ML systems for media targeting, creative testing, and spend optimization.
- Develop APIs and automation pipelines to interface with social media platforms, handling content scheduling and performance analytics.
- Work directly with the founders to translate strategic ideas into scalable code, balancing rapid development with technical excellence.
- Experiment quickly with LLMs (large language models) and reinforcement-learning agents to improve ad targeting, performance, and audience prediction.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience (Python, TypeScript, React, Node, Go, or similar stacks).
- Hands-on with AI/ML workflows , especially generative AI or language-model-based applications.
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment – comfortable with high-velocity iteration and experimentation.
- Bonus: Experience in adtech, trading systems, or recommendation algorithms.
