About the position

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI and machine learning (ML) solutions.
  • Support the design, implementation, and refinement of data science systems supporting engineering and production workflows.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, web development, data engineering, and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making across MFC engineering and production.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data from engineering development and production sources.
  • Develop, implement, and advocate for AI-powered solutions.
  • Data storytelling: using data visualization and communication techniques to translate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML algorithms and models to solve complex problems in various domains.

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML research and development, with a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
  • Experience with python
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
  • Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start and therefore must be US Citizen

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences and journals
  • Experience with AI/ML ethics, fairness, and transparency
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
