Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Overview:

Our client is seeking an AI Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will create, maintain, and improve a range of production AI/ML services that deliver meaningful value to real users. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest advancements in AI technologies and help integrate them into customer-facing products.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI/ML services and models.
* Create and optimize LLM-powered services and product features.
* Collaborate closely with AI engineers, software developers, systems engineers, product managers, and UX designers to bring AI-driven functionality to life.
* Evaluate and monitor model performance, ensuring reliability and scalability in production environments.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code used by other engineers and teams.
* Stay current with the evolving AI/ML landscape and apply emerging technologies appropriately.

Qualifications:

* Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts, including model evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
* Proven experience working with production AI/ML models in real-world applications.
* Hands-on experience building LLM-powered tools, services, or features.
* Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain).
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical topics effectively.
* (Preferred) Experience with cloud-based ML environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools.
