  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $72 – $82/hr


  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40hr/week 


The Opportunity


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering

  • 3+ years of experience building large-scale software applications

  • Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g.. well       designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).

  • Knowledge of Kotlin, Java, or Python

  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills

  • Unit/integration testing experience

  • Information security and privacy experience is a plus


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities 



  •  Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment

  • Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale

  • Work primarily in Kotlin, Java, or python

  • Collaborate with leading back end engineers

  • Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences


Objectives of this Role



  • Automate process of Identifying and measuring data risk from 3rd party vendors and tools  in a security organization at the company

  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth

  • Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements

  • Interact with cloud based applications via their APIs

  •  Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment

  •  Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design

  • Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
