Computer Vision Engineer (Founding Team)

📍 San Francisco, CA | In-Person, 5 Days/Week

This startup is looking for highly motivated, extremely brilliant engineers. They just graduated a top incubator and raised 8 mil+ from Tier 1 VC.

They are building next-generation
2D/3D vision and multimodal AI
for rugged industrial environments — bringing intelligence to the physical world of
materials, metal, and manufacturing
.

This is a chance to join the founding engineering team and help develop real-world computer vision systems that power automation across critical industries.

What you will do:

  • Develop and deploy ML models for object detection , segmentation , and classification
  • Perform camera and LiDAR calibration and fuse multi-sensor data
  • Work with 3D generative and reconstruction models for material understanding
  • Optimize real-time inference pipelines for edge deployment
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve accuracy, speed, and reliability

Ideal Background

  • Strong in Python , C++ , PyTorch , and OpenCV
  • Experience with sensor fusion , 3D vision , or industrial/robotic perception
  • Hands-on builder who thrives in fast-moving environments
  • Great communicator and problem-solver with strong ownership mentality

  • Base Salary: $125K–$150K
  • Equity: 0.75–1.0%
  • Start Date: Part-time work trial → Full-time by Jan 1
