Are you a Cyber Security Engineer with a passion for securing AI and cloud platforms? This is a long-term contract opportunity to play a key role in shaping a large-scale AI Security Programme, working at the forefront of AI, cloud, and data protection.

You’ll join a specialist AI & Data Security team, providing hands-on engineering expertise and technical leadership to ensure AI capabilities are deployed securely, responsibly, and at scale.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as a cybersecurity specialist for AI platforms, with hands-on involvement across Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Microsoft 365, and foundation models
  • Designing secure AI deployment patterns, guardrails, governance controls, and observability frameworks
  • Translating AI and platform risks into practical engineering solutions
  • Collaborating closely with security, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI safely into existing environments
  • Testing and validating AI models for security, performance, and reliability
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a strong security-first culture

Essential skills

  • Strong cybersecurity engineering background with AI / ML security exposure
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure Application Gateway
  • Experience securing AI platforms and foundation models
  • Knowledge of secure AI architectures, guardrails, and governance
  • Hybrid cloud security experience
