Data Engineer - Data Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and optimize ETLs and stream processing solutions
  • Maintain data storage (AWS Redshift, MongoDB, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL) 
  • Perform data quality checks and optimize ad hoc queries
  • Support and maintain our data warehouse - refactor data structures, fix issues with data such as duplication
  • Own the data analytics infrastructure and help move the infrastructure elements into their own separate accounts

Basic qualifications

  • Experience with Python programming
  • Good English and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) or a big interest to DataBases and SQL

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with micro-service and distributed systems
  • Experience in building and designing real-time and asynchronous systems
  • Familiarity with streaming data technologies for low-latency data processing (Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ)
