You & your role
As a Data Scientist Business Lending (Decision science) you design, validate, embed and maintain robust models that determine how business loan applications are assessed, scored, and approved. In this role you focus on decision science, risk modelling and customer acceptance.

- Design, build, and validate statistical and machine learning models for business processes and credit decisioning by also safeguarding model quality through monitoring, documentation and explainability.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple source systems and translate insights into model enhancements. Contribute to innovations such as alternative data use, new model architectures, and automation of decisioning processes.

You & your talent
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Decision Scientist.
- Proven experience with decisioning, credit risk, scoring, or acceptance models, preferably in business lending.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant frameworks (e.g., scikitlearn, XGBoost, MLflow).
- Deep knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and model validation.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment (e.g., ECB/ESRB expectations, model risk management) is a plus.
- Ability to explain complex analyses to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- A proactive mindset and enjoyment of working in multidisciplinary teams.
