Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Data Scientist. You will be responsible for driving analytical insights and data-driven decision-making, building and managing a high-performing data science team, developing analytics strategies and frameworks, and delivering actionable intelligence to AI labs and institutional clients. The Data Science Lead will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to identify analytical opportunities, establish best practices for data science workflows, and scale our analytics capabilities in the artificial intelligence space.
What you'll do
- Build and lead our data science organization, establishing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices for institutional-grade analytics and insights
- Own the full analytics lifecycle from problem formulation to deployment, working with AI labs, institutional investors, funds, and professionals to deliver data-driven solutions
- Develop and execute analytics strategies for new products and market segments, translating business needs into technical requirements
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine data pipelines, feature development, and model deployment strategies
- Drive measurable impact through predictive models, statistical analysis, and machine learning solutions while maintaining the rigor and interpretability our institutional clients expect
What we're looking for
- Proven track record in applied data science, preferably delivering analytics solutions to institutional clients or enterprise customers
- Experience building and scaling data science teams and establishing ML/analytics processes from early stages
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning techniques, experimentation frameworks, and model evaluation metrics
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for C-level executives and decision-makers
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify high-impact analytical opportunities and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Experience in analytics, fintech data science, or SaaS analytics platforms is a plus
- Certification or advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or related quantitative field preferred

Fully remote. While we're headquartered in San Francisco, we welcome talented data scientists from around the world. Team collaboration occurs across time zones with overlapping core hours.
