Within the COO organization, you report to the Head of Data & Digital Transformation for Asset Management.

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will support the development of next-generation AI Agents designed to enhance information access, operational efficiency, and decision-making across the organization. Your work will focus on designing, implementing, and refining agent-based systems. You will contribute both to the technical foundations (Python, APIs, evaluation, data preparation) and to the operational integration of these agents into business workflows.

In this role, your primary responsibilities include:

**1.AI AGENTS DEVELOPMENT & DATA SCIENCE [~70%]

1.1 AI Agents Design & Implementation**

o Participate in the design and development of Generative AI Agents for internal & external use.

o Build agent pipelines combining LLMs, tools, APIs, RAG components, and evaluation frameworks.

o Contribute to refining prompts, optimizing models, and improving agent reliability and accuracy.

1.2 Data Preparation & Engineering

o Prepare, clean, and structure datasets used to power the agents.

o Implement Python scripts to enhance agents' capabilities and improve robustness.

o Support the integration of metadata, documentation, and business knowledge into the agent ecosystem.

1.3 Testing & Evaluation

o Develop evaluation frameworks to benchmark agent performance.

o Conduct iterative testing to ensure high standards of accuracy, security, and compliance.

o Work closely with business stakeholders to validate agent outputs.

**2.DATA TRANSFORMATION & BUSINESS ENABLEMENT [~30%]

2.1 Data Governance & Quality**

o Contribute to maintaining data quality and documentation related to investment products.

o Support consistency and reliability of the information consumed by the agents.

2.2 Data Culture & Adoption

o Promote the use of AI tools within Asset Management teams.

o Help identify new opportunities for the deployment of AI agents across functions.

o Assist business teams in understanding agent capabilities and integration into daily workflows.

The internship is based in Paris, with potential interactions with international teams.

Profil et compétences recherchées

o Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field (in progress).

o Strong interest and demonstrable experience in Generative AI and AI Agent frameworks (hands-on academic or personal projects valued).

o Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML/GenAI libraries (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Transformers, etc.).

o Knowledge of data engineering basics (APIs, data cleaning, metadata, evaluation).

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Curiosity, proactivity, and ability to work in an international environment.

o Good communication skills with both technical and business teams.

o Working proficiency in English; French or German is a plus.
