Siemens is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges. We are looking for a professional with a strong foundation in data science, a passion for continuous learning, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Science & Machine Learning:
o Design, develop, and implement machine learning and deep learning models to solve real-world problems.
o Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure robust and accurate solutions.
o Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Software Engineering & Development:
o Apply software engineering best practices to build scalable, maintainable, and production-ready data science solutions.
o Develop and optimize Python-based data pipelines and analytical tools, leveraging data science libraries and frameworks.
o Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data science models into existing systems and applications.
- Data & Analytics:
o Work with large and complex datasets, utilizing platforms like Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
o Contribute to the development and enhancement of data products, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and usability.
o Understand and implement data governance principles to maintain data integrity and compliance.
- Collaboration & Communication:
o Actively participate in agile development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver iterative solutions.
o Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
o Clearly communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Technical Proficiency:
o Strong programming skills in Python, with extensive experience in data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
o Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, particularly Snowflake.
o Familiarity with software engineering principles, including version control (Git), testing, and deployment.
o Understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, model training, and evaluation techniques.

o Agile Frameworks: Proven experience working within agile development environments.
