**InnoIT is looking for Mid and Senior Data Scientists
Hybrid: Viladecans (Barcelona area) - 3 days/week on-site**
Help shape the next generation of AI-driven decision-making in aviation and travel. In this role, you’ll build optimization models and algorithms to solve complex operational challenges at scale — from translating business constraints into mathematical formulations to deploying robust solutions in production.
What you’ll drive
- Design and implement optimization algorithms, including metaheuristics (Genetic Algorithms, PSO, Simulated Annealing)
- Translate real operational rules into constraints + objective functions
- Analyze, clean, and structure data to improve model performance and reliability
- Benchmark, tune, and run sensitivity analyses to validate trade-offs and assumptions
- Work with product and engineering teams to productionize optimization solutions in Python
- Share knowledge and contribute to a strong, collaborative DS culture
You might be a fit if you have
- A degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
- Experience designing optimization solutions (metaheuristics and/or mathematical programming)
- Strong Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with tools such as Pyomo, PuLP, OR-Tools, DEAP, Mealpy, Optuna
- Confidence communicating with both technical and business stakeholders
- **Fluent English
