We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data science and machine learning, with hands-on experience in acquiring, cleaning, and analyzing complex datasets. You will play a key role in transforming messy, real-world data into actionable insights and deploying scalable models that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Acquire, clean, and process large, unstructured datasets from diverse sources to make them analysis ready.
- Conduct thorough EDA to understand data characteristics, identify trends, and uncover hidden insights.
- Translate complex business challenges into structured data science problems and analytical tasks.
- Build, train, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for tasks such as prediction, classification, clustering, and forecasting.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy models in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Present findings and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Continuously refine models and approaches based on performance feedback and changing business needs.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies.
Job Requirements
Details:
Experience Required
- Proficiency in Python and core data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
- Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and GCP Cloud Run.
Education Required
- Master's Degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the automotive industry.
- Ph.D. in a related field.
