As Security Engineer, Detection & Response, you will research threats, conduct threat hunts, develop detections and create automations that accelerate and standardize day-to-day operations.
This role is based in our Bellevue office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What youâll do
- You identify and mitigate cyber threats through automation and data-driven analysis, protecting customers, assets, and critical business functions.
- You apply a âSafety Alwaysâ mindset and first-principles thinking to deliver high-performance outcomes.
- You research threats, conduct hunts, develop detections, and build automations to accelerate and standardize operations.
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027.
- Coursework in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and/or Artificial Intelligence
- Prior project work and exposure to Linux, macOS, Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Go & Python
- A lifelong learner mindset: You actively seek out new knowledge, adapt quickly to emerging technologies and threats, and continuously refine your skills to stay ahead in a fast-moving security landscape.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
