We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team of hardworking and talented engineers building the next set of integrated data science and machine learning tools. By joining the Analytics Platform organization, you’ll be a key contributor in making the systems that power our analytics, insights, and machine learning efforts more reliable and effective. You will work on products that touch thousands of Spotifiers, and by extension, millions of Spotify listeners.

What You'll Do

    • Augment Spotify’s in-house analytics platform - built on top of cloud infrastructure, open source tooling, and custom integrations
    • Develop Spotify’s internal knowledge systems, leveraging agentic tools to register and consume artifacts
    • Be a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional agile team
    • Build and improve features for data discovery, code generation, and artifact sharing
    • Continue the build out of key infrastructure and environments for analytics data processing
    • Share knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate with teams working on groundbreaking Data Science and Machine Learning problems.
    • Work on a team of experienced engineers and a diverse tech stack covering core infrastructure all the way to front end applications.

Who You Are

    • Proficient in any one of the following languages:  Python, Java, Node.js, or Go
    • Have experience building backend services in either Java, Python, or Go
    • Interest in learning or experience with front end developmentInterest in learning or experience with Kubernetes or Docker
    • Interest in learning or experience with agentic workflows
    • Care deeply about testing and monitoring to ensure systems stay healthy and stable
    • A curious problem-solver with excellent communication skills, working best in a collaborative environment
    • Passionate about the Data Science and Machine Learning user experience and want to accelerate the impact of Data Science and Machine Learning products at Spotify.

Where You'll Be

    • This role is based in Toronto.
    • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.
