Company Overview:
A leading global macro hedge fund with approximately $7 billion in assets under management is seeking a Generative AI Engineer for their New York office. The role involves leading the integration of generative AI technologies to enhance decision-making and operational efficiencies across the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-departmental initiatives to identify challenges and opportunities where generative AI can provide significant value, including content creation, predictive analytics, and process automation.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate optimal AI technologies that align with organizational needs, ensuring strategic fit and maximum impact on operations.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for employees to foster understanding and encourage adoption of generative AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal IT, software development, and data engineering teams to ensure infrastructure and data pipelines support generative AI applications.
  • Remain at the forefront of generative AI advancements, evaluating and recommending new technologies for competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a closely related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience integrating emerging technologies, with at least 1 year focused on Generative AI.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in generative AI technologies.
  • An advanced degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, particularly Azure, and RPA platforms such as Power Automate is a plus.

Compensation:
Salary:

$150,000 – $200,000, Plus Bonus
