Job Description

We are seeking a Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade LLM-powered systems across Taxwell. This role focuses on implementing scalable, reliable generative AI capabilities embedded in internal tools and customer-facing products. You will work hands-on with retrieval systems, agent workflows, and model integrations to deliver measurable business impact.
You will collaborate closely with platform, product, data, and security teams to translate AI use cases into secure, production-ready systems.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement LLM-powered applications supporting internal workflows and customer-facing features.
Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines grounded in proprietary documentation and structured data.
Develop agent-based and workflow-driven systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, ADK, or similar.
Integrate commercial and open-weight LLMs into APIs and production services.
Implement prompt strategies, tool-calling workflows, and structured output generation.
Contribute to shared AI infrastructure including embeddings, vector search, evaluation tooling, caching, and monitoring.
Improve system performance through latency optimization, cost management, and retrieval tuning.
Partner with DevOps and platform teams to deploy scalable services in AWS.
Measure system performance using telemetry, experimentation, and user feedback.

Qualifications:

5–8+ years of software engineering experience.
2+ years building and deploying LLM-powered or RAG-based systems in production.
Hands-on experience with embeddings, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS), and retrieval pipelines.
Experience building agent workflows and integrating LLM APIs.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
Experience deploying systems in AWS environments.
Strong debugging and systems thinking skills.

Preferred:

Experience implementing evaluation frameworks (e.g., LangSmith).
Experience optimizing latency and token cost.
Exposure to regulated industries (fintech, tax, healthcare).
Experience fine-tuning or adapting open-weight LLMs.

Quick answers about how DevFound's AI matching, resumes, and referrals work.

DevFound's AI Copilot ingests your profile, goals, and live job data to deliver curated matches in seconds. Every match includes a resume variant, suggested referrals, and interview prep so you can act immediately. The more feedback you provide, the sharper the Copilot becomes.

AI-led job searches shrink the hours spent sifting through boards and formatting resumes. DevFound pairs automation with your personal outreach, so you reserve energy for interviews and negotiation. Traditional networking still matters, but AI gives you a lift before you even send a message.

Modern AI roles expect comfort with production-grade code, data fluency, and practical ML tooling. The strongest candidates pair deep technical chops with storytelling—translating model impact to product, GTM, and exec partners. Continuous learning keeps you ahead as stacks evolve.

DevFound rewards active seekers. Keep your profile fresh, respond to match quality prompts, and enable alerts so you never miss a role. The AI prioritizes companies and teams that align with your feedback, accelerating both introductions and interview invites.

High-density tech hubs continue to host the deepest AI talent pools, yet distributed teams are catching up fast. Use DevFound filters to hone in on onsite, hybrid, or fully remote roles and watch openings expand across time zones.

DevFound aggregates thousands of remote AI openings and flags the nuances—core hours, async culture, and visa needs—up front. The Copilot also recommends how to position your distributed work experience so hiring managers know you can thrive on a remote team.
