Job Summary

Duties

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models focused on healthcare data analytics and predictive modeling.
  • Utilize frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark, and Hadoop for large-scale data processing and model training.
  • Conduct data mining and ETL processes to prepare complex datasets from various sources including linked data and databases.
  • Deploy machine learning models into production environments using cloud services like AWS and containerization techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing healthcare systems and workflows.
  • Perform natural language processing tasks on clinical notes, medical records, and other unstructured data sources.
  • Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning, validation, and continuous monitoring.
  • Develop scalable data pipelines using Talend, Bash (Unix shell), SQL, SAS, VBA, and other tools for efficient data handling.
  • Design database schemas that support efficient storage and retrieval of healthcare-related information.
  • Stay updated with advancements in quantum engineering, big data analytics, and emerging AI techniques relevant to healthcare.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in machine learning model development with frameworks such as TensorFlow, R, SAS, or similar tools.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), VBA, and SQL for data manipulation and model deployment.
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms like AWS for scalable model training and deployment.
  • Deep understanding of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, ETL processes, and database design principles.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques applied to healthcare datasets.
  • Experience with data mining, linked data integration, and analytics tools such as Looker for visualization.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts including unsupervised learning, model training strategies, and AI ethics in healthcare applications.
  • Ability to work with complex datasets involving medical records, clinical notes, or other unstructured health information.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a background in quantum engineering or related fields is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across teams. Pay: $152,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
