Role Description

We’re seeking a visionary Founding AI Engineer to design and build powerful agentic AI systems from the ground up. As one of the first technical hires, you’ll shape our AI culture, architecture, and long-term strategy while ensuring our platform delivers production-grade intelligence at scale.

  • Design and implement cutting-edge multimodal AI systems for text and visual data.
  • Build production-ready generative AI applications with human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Architect scalable AI infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment standards.
  • Integrate domain-specific structural engineering expertise into AI models.
  • Lead technical innovation and mentor engineers as the team scales.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building production AI systems with LLMs and Vision-Language Models.
  • Proven track record with multimodal AI (text + visual data).
  • Expert in Python and modern ML frameworks.
  • Strong background in MLOps, model deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with human-AI collaboration frameworks and enterprise AI reliability.
  • Leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Passion for applying AI to real-world resilience and disaster risk challenges.
