Actively hiring Posted 5 months ago

What You’ll Do

  • Engineer AI Backends: Design and deploy scalable FastAPI endpoints that handle complex queries and serve data from our Knowledge Graphs to the frontend.
  • Build Interactive Graph Interfaces: Take proven concepts from Streamlit and re-engineer them into responsive React applications. Your goal is to build UIs that make navigating complex graph data simple and actionable for business users.
  • Optimize GraphRAG Pipelines: Refine our RAG strategies to ensure our AI retrieves the most relevant contexts from our graph structures.
  • Productionize Prototypes: Bridge the gap between data science and software engineering by rewriting experimental Python code into production-grade, maintainable software.
  • CI/CD & Deployment: Use Jenkins and GitHub to maintain a robust deployment pipeline for both the backend APIs and the frontend applications.

Your Profile

  • Someone with a strong data/backend foundation (Python, API design) who is not afraid of the frontend.
  • Experience or strong interest in React—specifically in how to visualize data (charts, graphs, networks).
  • A "Product Engineering" mindset: You care about how the AI output is actually consumed by the user.
  • You are currently enrolled in a university degree program, ideally with a technical focus

Our Offer

  • Modern Tech Stack: Work with a clean, efficient stack (FastAPI, React, Snowflake, Airflow) where you spend more time building and less time maintaining legacy systems.
  • Complex Engineering Challenges: Move beyond standard analytics to solve hard problems in GraphRAG and knowledge retrieval, building systems that truly understand data relationships.
  • Hybrid Career Growth: This role sits at the intersection of Data Science and Full-Stack Engineering—a perfect opportunity to master the end-to-end process of building AI products.
  • Ownership & Autonomy: We trust our team to make technical decisions. You will have the freedom to architect solutions and choose the best tools for the job.
  • Tangible Impact: You aren't just generating reports. You are building the interactive applications and tools that our business teams use every day to make decisions.
  • You will spend your office days in our modern, easily accessible office at Vienna Central Station.
  • You can expect an exciting and instructive internship for 5 to 6 months.
