Junior AI Engineer (f/m/x)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• check_circle Develop and implement production-ready AI applications (Machine Learning, Generative AI, and LLM-based systems)
• check_circle Support the transition of models into scalable production systems across the entire lifecycle, from exploration to deployment
• check_circle Build and integrate AI services, APIs, and workflows into existing IT landscapes
• check_circle Design and implement modern AI architectures (e.g., RAG, feature pipelines, and model orchestration)
• check_circle Contribute to the development of end-to-end solutions on Azure and Databricks, including data processing, model development, and deployment
• check_circle Develop and operate data and model pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring
• check_circle Utilize and integrate modern AI tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and LLM platforms)
• check_circle Help ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of AI solutions
• check_circle Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and implement AI use cases

Basic qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Initial experience in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions, including LLMs and Generative AI
• Good programming skills, particularly in Python
• Practical experience with building and deploying RAG systems and Agentic AI solutions
• Experience with Azure and Databricks
• Ability to independently design and technically implement AI use cases
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
