Responsibilities

  • ICT Data & AI Sector is looking for an AI/ML Engineer to support our growing workload. S/He participates in different initiatives from ongoing projects regarding client operations in the field
  • Discuss and select off-the-shelf public ML models for various objectives (NER, OCR, NSFW classifiers, transformers, …).
  • Integrate or wrap around these models in Python into dockerized APIs.
  • Fine-tune selected or homemade models.
  • Innovate and propose “vibe coded” application for prototype.
  • Deploy and Integrate software into our on-prem environment.

Basic qualifications

  • AI’s models market awareness – with the curiosity to explore and experience things by yourself.
  • Development skills, even AI assisted.
  • Basic understanding of web development (backend/frontend segregation, HTTP communication, API, etc.)
  • Knowledge of docker, bash, GIT, Kubernetes a plus.
  • Good knowledge and experience of model development (PyTorch) and fine-tuning.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Experienced in CICD pipelines and automation in general (Ansible, docker registries, Helm charts, APIM) a plus.
  • Master’s degree minimum (master’s from EPFL or equivalent engineering school preferred), with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English, French an asset.
  • Interest in the humanitarian sector.
  • Team player.
  • Collaboration and communication with IT colleagues and métier stakeholders
