Role overview

TRINITY IT is seeking an exceptional Software and Artificial Intelligence Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI-enabled capabilities supporting Navy Command and Control modernization efforts.

The successful candidate will lead software architecture activities involving cloud-native applications, microservices, machine learning, large language models, and operational deployment of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software architecture and design efforts.
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions into operational systems.
  • Lead deployment of containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.
  • Design microservices architectures supporting mission applications.
  • Collaborate with Naval Operations SMEs to develop operationally relevant AI capabilities.
  • Support secure software delivery through DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Participate in technical proposal development and oral presentations.

Basic qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI or eligibility.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker/containerization
  • Microservices architectures
  • Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM technologies into operational systems.
  • Security+ CE, CySA+, or equivalent DoD 8140 certification.

Preferred qualifications

  • MLOps experience.
  • LLM deployment experience.
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • AWS, Azure, or DoD cloud environments.
  • C4ISR mission systems.
  • Platform One experience.
