We are looking for an ML Engineer with a passion for highly configurable digital avatars and intuitive content tools that inspire user creativity. In this role, you will design and implement machine learning models, perform complex data analysis, and develop cutting-edge algorithms that push the boundaries of avatar expression and interactivity. You will be expected to propose innovative, data-driven solutions with minimal guidance, driving informed decision-making. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure the seamless deployment and optimization of machine learning systems. Additionally, staying ahead of the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence will be a key aspect of your role.
What You’ll be Doing:
Develop AI-driven character animation models for body motion, facial expressions, and behavioral AI.
Train reinforcement learning (RL) or deep learning models to generate motion sequences.
Work with game engines (Unity, Unreal) to integrate AI-generated animation.
Collaborate with graphics engineers to blend AI motion with traditional animation.
Optimize character movement for real-time applications (XR, mobile).
What You Should Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in machine learning or related fields.
Experience with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
ML expertise (Deep learning, Reinforcement Learning, Motion AI)
Experience with physics-based animation or motion synthesis
Game engine knowledge (Unreal, Unity) for motion blending
Some 3D geometry understanding (meshes, rigging, skeletons)
Experience with OpenUSD, Houdini (bonus)
Starting Salary Range: $165,000 - $230,000
