About The Position
At CitySwifter, we are building a world-class R&D AND engineering team to digitally transform public transport in major cities around the world. We want a Data Scientist/Optimization Engineer to join a rapidly growing team, solving interesting and complex technological problems with real-world solutions. You must love to code both personally and professionally, always keep up to date with the latest technologies and get excited by solving real-world problems and have the ambition to grow with the company as we scale up.
Today, we analyse billions of data points for a selection of the world’s largest transport companies, shipping a product that constantly delivers for clients and exceeds expectations.
In this role, you will be part of a small team of data scientists and act as a key member in the research, development and scaling of our product, all while using world-class algorithms and machine learning.
We are looking for a candidate with superb interpersonal skills, a expert Machine Learning background with vast experience and interest in Mathematical Modelling, Statistics and Probability.
You will interact primarily with our Engineering and Data R&D teams to oversee the implementation of the core products and report directly to the Cloud Architect alongside our current technical lead and Software Architect.
